Military schools and private youth academies

Military boarding schools aren’t the right solution for every child. But if your son or daughter is struggling with emotional problems such as depression and anger or is dealing with substance abuse issues, it might be time to consider sending them to a private military school to get the one-on-one attention and discipline they need in order to reach their full potential.

Dealing with a troubled teen can be frustrating and heartbreaking for parents. If your child is struggling or acting out, chances are that you have tried every method you can think of to change their behavior and turn their life around. This creates great strain on yourself and your family. If you are at your wit’s end and don’t know where to turn, a youth academy or military school is one of many options available to parents.

Schools of this nature provide opportunities for a fresh start in a place designed to nurture and encourage teens within a broader framework of discipline and self-respect. Sending your son or daughter away from home is not an easy decision to make, and it's normal for parents to struggle with the idea of sending their children away from home for extended periods of time. Keep in mind that most academies, access to counselling, support in all areas is at much higher level than would be found in a typical education environment.
