Admiral Farragut Academy (AFA) is a private, non-denominational, coeducational college-preparatory military school located in 501 Park Street North, St. Petersburg, Florida, United States. It was named after Admiral David Glasgow Farragut, the senior officer of the U.S. Navy during the American Civil War.

The academy was originally founded in 1933 in Pine Beach, New Jersey. In 1945, the St. Petersburg, Florida campus was built and, a year later, was designated a Naval Honor School by the U.S.Congress. When the New Jersey campus closed doors in 1994, the St. Petersburg campus became the school center. By 1990, Admiral Farragut Academy became coeducational and started accepting female students for the first time.

Admiral Farragut Academy is perhaps most noted for graduating two of the twelve men who walked on the Moon: Rear Admiral Alan Shepard of the USN, the first American in space and fifth person to walk on the Moon as part of the 1971 Apollo 14 mission, and Brigadier General Charles Duke of the USAF, the tenth person to walk on the Moon as part of the 1972 Apollo 16 mission.

As a college preparatory school with naval training, Admiral Farragut Academy prided itself as a school with a strong tradition of discipline and excellence, with a history of helping its students on their journeys of self-discovery. The school offers broad and rigorous discipline within the context of a military framework and a strong and widely accredited curriculum.

NJROTC is an integral part of the education. Once students reach Upper Division, they are required to take three years of Naval Science, an in-depth study of the United States Navy history, operation and core concepts.
