Aukela used to be located in Miami but was forced to relocate in Hollywood after Hurricane Andrew. The school serves approximately 155 students, in which 30 of them are recipients of a scholarship called Step Up For Students. Their unique academic program have already assisted students to overcome challenges in the field of academics.
Aukela Christian Military Academy's aim is to develop educational skills and abilities into their students to create responsible and productive individuals in the society. They include spiritual guidance and Christ-centered teachings into their education program to instill love, discipline and good values into their students.Their learning environment which is multi-cultural is also effecttive for the student's individual achievements and growth.
The school's influence in providing students a military type of environment is to instill in them the discipline, the respect, courtesy and the essential values. Their Honor Guard in highly accalimed and noteworthy. The team usually travels to perform flag presentations in a military style. They have also knowned to perform in Walt Disney World Veterans Parades, the Governor's Conference, NBA basketball games and various other events in the state. Aukela Christian Military Academy is a member of AISF and accredited by SACS/CASI.
